Data Specialist

What you’ll do

As a Data Specialist, you play a key role in further developing our data environment. You help us turn data into valuable insights and ensure the organization makes the most of what the numbers reveal.

You’ll develop dashboards and reports in Power BI/Fabric that truly help colleagues move forward. You love diving into datasets, discovering trends and opportunities, and translating them into concrete improvements for our organization. You’ll also support ETL processes and help build and maintain our Lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric.

You’ll work closely with the operational teams within Geris to ensure data quality and consistency. You identify what data is still needed and help expand the infrastructure so colleagues always have access to the right insights. You’ll actively contribute to projects that support Geris’s strategic and operational goals and help define and apply standards and best practices in data analysis.

Do you have the full package?

We’re looking for someone who’s analytically strong, loves solving data puzzles, and can easily connect with people. Someone who never loses sight of the bigger picture.
You have:
    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, IT, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
    • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
    • Experience with Power BI, SQL, and data modeling
    • Knowledge of ETL processes, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric is a plus
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly
    • A proactive, independent, and structured way of working
    • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to show colleagues the power of data by making complex information simple and accessible
