What you will do

You are the specialist in the physical butter trade and the link between butter trading and the dynamics of the derivatives market. You know the market inside out, feel its movements and know exactly when to strike. You buy, sell and negotiate with flair, instinct, and a razor-sharp sense of timing.

With your sharp commercial sense and deep understanding of the needs of customers and suppliers, you put Geris firmly on the map. You know the client-specific requirements by heart and serve them flawlessly. You are a reliable and proactive trading partner. You are not a representative, you are a trader at heart: fast, focused, and always on the hunt for the best deal.

What sets you apart? You combine your commercial instinct with strategic insight. You dive wholeheartedly into the world of derivatives, understand how futures markets move, and switch effortlessly with our derivatives traders. You know how the physical and financial worlds strengthen each other and that makes your role more powerful than ever.

You work from ’s-Hertogenbosch but are regularly on the road: visiting suppliers, customers, and international fairs. You build strong relationships, spot opportunities, and make sure that you and Geris always stay ahead when the market changes.

In addition, you regularly visit our location in Nederweert to assess the products, stay connected with what you trade, and coordinate with colleagues on quality and logistics.
In short: you are an entrepreneurial, curious, and decisive trader who masters the butter trade from A to Z. And your approach? It’s not only effective but also smooth as butter.

Do you have the full package?

    • You speak fluent English, preferably also German; Dutch is a plus
    • You have 2 to 4 years of experience in trading or a related position, or you’re a young talent with the right drive and eagerness to learn
    • You are commercial, socially strong, and you love dynamism and flexibility
    • You are a trader through and through: fast, alert, and goal-oriented
    • Interest in derivatives and futures markets to understand the link between physical and financial trading
    • You are representative, loyal, and have a hands-on mentality
    • You enjoy travelling and building a network in Germany and beyond
    • Leadership skills or ambition? That’s a great extra
