Your role

As a Business Controller at Geris, you are the link between numbers and the business. You don’t just provide insights, you create foresight. With your analyses, you help departments better manage performance, costs, and growth, and you provide direct input for strategic decision-making.

You look ahead, identify opportunities, and translate them into concrete improvements. Whether it’s dashboards, KPIs, or process optimization, you ensure the organization continuously works smarter and more efficiently.

At the same time, you collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and support the financial foundation, such as monthly closings and reporting. This keeps you close to the numbers and fully aware of what’s going on.

You combine the best of both worlds: strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll have plenty of room for initiative and play an active role in further professionalizing the organization, independently or as part of project teams, always with a sharp focus on both data and the business.

This role comes with real responsibility, but you’ll never stand alone. Our finance team consists of six ambitious, hands-on professionals who value decisiveness, initiative, and collaboration. What we’re looking for

•    At least a bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in a financial field 
•    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
•    A strong analytical mindset and the ability to explain the story behind the numbers 
•    Proactive, independent, and communicatively strong 
•    Eagerness to keep developing in a dynamic environment
