What you'll be doing 

At Geris, standard isn’t really our thing. We like to come up with ideas that are just a little different, roll up our sleeves and get things done – all with plenty of fun, boldness and that typical Brabant sense of humor.
That’s why we’re looking for a Graphic Designer / DTP Specialist who wants to do more than just design layouts. Someone with strong graphic design skills, the technical know-how to execute designs perfectly, and the creativity to come up with original ideas and concepts.
Graphic design and DTP are at the heart of your role. You make sure our visual communication is not only creative and recognisable, but technically spot-on too. From the initial idea and design all the way through to delivering print-ready files.
But it doesn’t stop there. At Geris, you’ll have plenty of room to think beyond graphic design. You’ll contribute to our visual identity, campaigns, international trade shows, social media and everything else that helps put Geris on the map visually.
No two days are the same – and you’ll see your work everywhere, both inside and outside Geris.

Where you'll unleash your creativity 

• Graphic design & DTP. This is your foundation. You design and professionally prepare files for both print and digital use. From brochures, flyers and advertisements to signage, packaging and other communication materials. You know all about bleed, crop marks, resolution, colour profiles and print-ready artwork, and you make sure everything is delivered correctly.
• Promotional materials that stand out. You turn ideas into strong visual materials that fit Geris and our various brands.
• Logos & brand identities. You develop new visual concepts while also safeguarding our existing brand identity. Consistency matters to you, but you’re not afraid to shake things up.
• International trade shows. From the first creative concept to the final exhibition stand, you help shape how Geris presents itself. Together with our Project Manager, you’ll also support the organisation and execution of several international trade shows each year.
• Communication with style. Internal communications, customer presentations and pitch decks – you make sure the story is not only right, but looks professional and engaging too.
• Social media & campaigns. You contribute creative concepts for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and other campaigns and turn them into eye-catching visuals and content.
• Photo & video. Whether it’s for vacancies, campaigns, social media or events, you’re happy to pick up a camera when needed and create or edit content.
• Website & intranet. You contribute ideas to improve the visual appearance, content and user-friendliness of our online channels.

You’ll work for and with different teams across Geris, from Trade and Operations to HR. One day, you’ll be focused on perfecting every last detail of a brochure; the next, you’ll be developing a campaign concept or working at an international trade show.

Do you have the full package? 

We’re not looking for a marketeer who happens to know a little bit about design. We’re looking for someone with a strong graphic design foundation and solid DTP knowledge, who also enjoys thinking creatively and taking on a broader range of projects.
You’re precise enough to deliver technically flawless files, but creative enough not to sit around waiting for a briefing. You spot opportunities, bring your own ideas to the table and get energy from turning those ideas into reality.

In addition:

• You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Design, DTP, Visual Design or a comparable field.
• You have experience in graphic design and DTP and know how to professionally prepare and deliver print-ready files.
• You’re highly skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• You have a strong eye for typography, composition, colour, imagery and brand identity.
• You’re comfortable working within an existing brand identity, while also being able to develop new creative concepts yourself.
• You work accurately and have a sharp eye for detail. A difference of a few millimetres? You’ll notice it.
• You enjoy working on more than just graphic design, such as social content, photography, video and campaigns.
• You can work independently, but you’re just as comfortable collaborating with others.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• You’re happy to occasionally travel to international trade shows.
• And perhaps most importantly: you’re a do-er. You don’t spend forever talking about a creative idea – you sketch it, design it, make it and move on to the next challenge
