What will you do

As a QA/QC Specialist, you are the key link when it comes to quality within our organisation. You ensure that everything is correct: from documentation to product, and from process to execution. You operate at the heart of our Dairy as a Service (DAAS) chain, which means you are involved in everything—from procurement and storage to (re)packing and logistics. No two days are the same, and you are on top of it all.

You work closely with the Quality Manager and are an important sparring partner when it comes to quality issues, process improvements, and quality assurance. While the Quality Manager sets the direction and holds final responsibility for quality policy, you ensure that processes are executed properly, agreements are followed, and improvements are translated into daily practice.

You are the main point of contact for operational quality-related questions from customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You ensure that questions are not left unanswered, but are addressed, resolved, and embedded. Whether it concerns certifications, documentation, or product specifications, you maintain oversight and ensure everything is perfectly in order.

But to be honest: you are not someone who only “checks.” You see where things can be improved and take action. You analyse processes, think along, and ensure improvements are actually implemented. In doing so, you not only improve quality but also the efficiency of the entire chain.

You carry out inspections, identify deviations, and quickly coordinate with the right people to find solutions. Together with the Quality Manager, Commercial, and Operations teams, you ensure that customers receive exactly what they expect: quality, reliability, and flexibility.

With your sharp eye, structured approach, and proactive mindset, you are indispensable to the team. You ensure that quality is not an afterthought, but a strength of the organisation.

You enjoy working with others but also take ownership of your responsibilities. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and understand the importance of your role within the bigger picture of our services.

Additionally:

• Bachelor’s degree level (preferably in quality, food, or business—e.g. HAS)
• 2–3 years of experience in a QA, QC, or quality role
• Experience in the food sector is a must
• Experience with quality management systems and certification
• Strong communication skills and able to work with various stakeholders
• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
• Proactive, stress-resistant, and results-driven
• Customer-focused and comfortable in a dynamic environment
