What you will do

As a Quality Support Employee, you make sure that everything behind the scenes related to quality is in order. From supplier information and certificates to questionnaires, product specifications and customer inquiries: you ensure that the right information is available, complete and up to date.

At Geris, we work with various suppliers, products and customers in the Netherlands and abroad every day. This means dealing with a lot of quality-related information. You keep track of it all. You request documents from suppliers, check whether information is complete and make sure everything is recorded in the right place.

At the same time, you are an important point of contact for quality-related questions from customers and suppliers. Has a questionnaire come in? Is a certificate missing? Does a customer need additional product information? You take ownership, involve the right colleagues and make sure the question is handled correctly and on time.

If you notice that information is missing, something is incorrect or a process could be improved, you don't wait around. You flag it, take action and work with your colleagues in Quality or other departments where necessary.

With your organizational skills and proactive attitude, you make sure our quality information is always up to date and that colleagues, customers and suppliers can rely on you.

Do you have the full package?

You are someone who gets energy from structure, organization and making sure things are done properly. You like it when information is accurate, documents are in order and outstanding items are followed up and completed. You are detail-oriented, but definitely not someone who waits around. Is something missing? You go after it. Do you see an opportunity to improve something? You take action.

You can easily switch between different tasks. One moment you are working on supplier documentation, the next you are answering a quality-related question or making sure a questionnaire is completed.

You enjoy working as part of a team, but you are also comfortable taking responsibility independently. Following up on agreements and making sure things actually get completed comes naturally to you.

You also bring:

• At least MBO-level education and working experience;
• You work accurately and systematically and have an eye for detail;
• You are administratively strong and enjoy working with documentation, data and different systems;
• You enjoy investigating, following up on and completing tasks;
• You are proactive and don't wait around when information is missing or something is incorrect;
• You can maintain an overview when multiple tasks and questions are running at the same time;
• You communicate easily and clearly with colleagues, customers and suppliers;
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
• Experience in Quality or the food industry is a plus, but not a requirement;
• Knowledge of quality standards, procedures or quality management systems is an advantage.
